A layer of high-density Visco-Elastic Foam is then added to the patient contact surface, which enhances comfort and pressure reduction where it is needed most. The convex shape of the sides that face both the patient and caregiver create a more "Roll-Like" design, further reducing the collapsing forces of heavier patient weights. Manufactured of high-density, anti-microbial, hypoallergenic foam. The dimensions are 26" W x 12" Deep x 8" Tall. Nylon friction and shear reducing top cover. No-Slip fabric bottom cover to prevent migration away from the patient. The cover can be cleaned with standard cleaning procedures, using properly diluted solutions. The No-Slip Wedge meets or exceeds the specifications in California Upholstery Provisions as stated in Technical Bulletin #117.
